3rd Forza Badminton Cup
Forza Group of Companies held the 3rd Badminton Cup, a series of badminton tournaments for members Ranks 3 to 11. The Badminton Cup, participated in by 88 members, is an annual series of five (5) inter-group tournaments which aims to foster camaraderie, sportsmanship and fellowship among the participants. The Opening Tournament, which started with a parade of players, was held on 01 June 2019 at the FGCO Roof Deck, and was formally opened by our Chairman and CEO, Mr. Valentin Prieto, Jr.
Qualifying rounds were held simultaneously in Pasay (FGCO and Property Service), Cabuyao (Manufacturing and Healthcare) and Cebu offices. All tournaments were overseen by professional umpires. The championship game was held at FGCO Roof Deck on 27 July 2018. Players from Cebu Field Office were also present during the final round. After the challenges of the qualifying games, the following members were declared champions and were awarded during the Fun Games on 03 August 2019 at the FGCO Roof Deck.
